We are on a mission to provide a high-quality education to children in Guatemala. For just $350 you can send a child in need to school for an entire year.

What is Aldea supporting?

Aldea is providing educational scholarships for children ages 12-18 who would otherwise be stuck in a poverty trap.

What is the scholarship?

For $350 per year, we can fully support a child's educational needs, including books, uniforms and everyday travel expenses.

Why Guatemala?

Our team has deep connections and relationships with the communities, including the local Universities that these kids dream of attending.

  • Our first 18 scholarships were given to children in deep poverty in different regions of Guatemala. They are motivated and supported by their families in their efforts to stay in school.

  • We are continuously checking in with our team on the ground in Guatemala to make sure the students have all the resources they need to not only attend school, but to stay in school. Follow our Instagram account to follow along their journeys to success.

  • It costs, on average, $350 per year for secondary school. Whether donating $350 or $5, all donations go directly to the educational costs of the children which include books, uniforms, everyday travel and more.
